My nails are really thin due to having false nails on for months n months?

is there any thing i Can do to thicken them back up n make them strong again

thanks in advanceMy nails are really thin due to having false nails on for months n months?
Yes I bought a nail strengthen kit from QVC (cannot remember the name now) Those false nails do terrible things to your own nails. I swore I would never wear them again. It takes few months for your nails to get their strength back. Good Luck.My nails are really thin due to having false nails on for months n months?
Ah I can relate to this. I used to have acrylics applied continously every three weeks for two years. I desided to stop and save some money :)

After I had them removed I ***** belive how awful my natural nails were , before the whole acrylic thing I thought there wernt too bad.

So I cut them short and brought two sally henses nail vanishes, the best one was called 'teflon' and was amazing! With in two weeks I could notice how much better my nails were, and after two monhts Ive grown my own and had an manicure with an airbrush finish (so much better then acrylics )

I used to apply two coats of the 'teflon tuff' or 'hard as nails' polishes let them dry and another colour on top and a top coats once every three to four days.

Also as one of the guys said before your diet helps, so eat the right foods and take some vitamin supliments.

Goood luck

:)

:
its dietary dear, you need meat and pasta often in your diet.

Steamed and Raw veg and smoothies made with fruit and a little raw spinach or kale added.

I'd advise get a meditaranean cook book, those people are healthy and Strong.... Believe.

also Honey daily and Milk, i'd seriously advise including as much organc food into you rdiet regularly, it is not at all exspnsive, thats a lie, sometimes it is equal price. Even if its basics like onions tomatoes and garlic and carrots its only a pound extra for all these.

Waitrose Supermarket has an excellent Organic fresh range with excellent prices....

Also Raw Nuts, Cahsews, Walnuts and Raisins and Grapes.

Dried fruit for smoothies fruit and milk based.

Prunes, Dates, Figs, Apricots... good in milk smoothies.
Hi i had this problem as well. I cut my nails quite short and painted them will nail hardener but unfortunately they will not quite recover until the whole nail has grown again. Sorry if this is not the answer you hoped for!
Be sure to watch where you put them, thin nails are more easily broken. Putting lotion on them usually helps strengthen them. And there are some nail polishes that help strengthen your nails. Good luck, hon.
You can get nail strengthening nail polish, or nail strengthening nail polish remover, I'd advise both :)
during the months your waiting for you nails to strengthen also eat fruits... they strengthen your nails
