Spray Tan And False Nails?

Hi, Well im getting french nails done and a false tan for the prom which is coming up later in June. I was wondering if i got my nails done first and then a spray tan would it dye my nails orange?!

well, when you go get a spray tan, normally they give you a cream to put over your nails, palms, and the bottoms of your feet, so that it wont tan you there,

it might be smart to get your tan, THEN your nails

Since this is a special occasion its best for you to get the spray tan first. If you covered up your nails real good first before tanning, the spray might not get on your nails but since you are doing this for prom I wouldnt take a chance.





If you insist on getting your nails done and then a tan then i suggest you try covering your nails up with vaseline (lay it on thick) on top , the sides and underneath. that way it creates a barrier and you can just wipe it off and wash your hands and nails.


I use this method when doing water marbling on nails. It helps the nail polish not get on the skin. i never tried this method for tanning spray so try it at your own risk. If you do try it let me know how it turned out.

why would you spray tan on your fingers? well if your getting really intensive tan then yeah you need to 'color' the fingers too. i'm not sure if you can dye false nails, you should ask the manicure specialist before getting french nails. i really doubt the material of false nails can be colored with fake tan.
Well first dont natrual tan you could get skin cancer and maybe you could ask a french nail person about what would happen and how to prevent it from happening and how to get rid off it if it did happen.

Why don't you get a tan first then get your nails done. Natural tan would probably be better than getting a spray tan. However, spray tan wouldn't probably have an effect on your nails since there is no point in spraying your nails.
Why not naturally tan?
