Well, I'm not sure if they are bad for you, but I had a friend who used them couple times and once she couldn't get them off. So that whole month went by with those fake nails while her real nails grew under. I have also heard that it is possible for mold to get in between.
Personally, I can't stand fake nails since they just gross me out. But, it's your decision. I guess all I can say is try not to get the cheap, crappy, ';fell out of a pinata'; kind.
