Hi! I would like to try false nails (french manicure looking), but i dont know how they work! i know they are suposed to be glued on, however, if i use them for an hour or two can i take them off without much hassle? are they reusable? any tips or comments please.
Ps.: i cant have long nails as my work requires me to handle newborns and young babies. i would like to have long nails when i go out tho... :)Can anyone explain false nails to me please? what are they like?
If you get them done in a salon, they're definitely not reusable and they're meant to stay on for a while (when your nails grow, you need to get them filled in and they look like new.)
The nails you buy in a drugstore are not as good quality (and it's not a professional applying them) so I think you would be able to take them off really easily with nail polish remover with acetone unlike gel or acrylic nails from the salon. If there is not much dried glue on the back of the nail I suppose you can reuse them, you might need to buy more glue though.
The only problem is because you're getting them from a box, you can't really choose the size and length. At a salon you can.
I have fake nails and I get them done at a salon. I think you should give it a shot there and get acrylic fake nails (not gels, they are much too expensve). You can choose the length so they can look nice but you'll still be able to handle newborns and young babies.
