What is the best type of false nails?

I'm thinking of having my nails done professionally and not sure which is best. I've heard you can have either acrylic or gel. Also which is better value and how long do you have to go between touch ups?What is the best type of false nails?
i think the 1st answer has the nail types confused.


gel nails last the longest and they don't harm your nails as much as acrylics. i've been getting my nails done for years. get the gel they are the best. and if you have the money to spend get UV gel they are expensive but worth it.What is the best type of false nails?
Acrylic nails last the longest, a friend of my mom's has acrylic nails and she cleans houses and they look great. They're also a lot more expensive than gel nails.





A friend of mine gets gel nails done and I think she gets them redone every two to three weeks, but she also moves crates around so some of them break off. If you have white nail polish and a clear nail polish you can touch them up yourself if you have tiny marks.





Note: acrylic nails do do more damage to your own nails. Gel nails not as much.
