How can i remove my false nails?

i had stuck false nails on about a week ago and they are begining to grow out, i cant get them off. is there something I can use to strip the glue off?How can i remove my false nails?

If they are Acrylics, do NOT pull them off. You can soak them off in Nail Polish Remover that contains Acetone, which will be MUCH less harsh on your nails. The bond between your nailbed and your natural nail isn't as strong as the bond between your natural nail and the Acrylic, so there is a high possiblity of pulling up your natural nail with the acrylic. THAT'S why you should either see a professional or remove them with Acetone.





If they are the glue-on Temporary tips [which I am assuming so from the details you gave], you can soak them in Acetone-Based Nail Polish Remover also, and the plastic should soften after 15-20 minutes. It's important to scrape the melted plastic off very quickly or it'll harden, and you will have to repeat the process all over again! This goes for both Acrylics and Temporary Tips.





You can gently pull at the Temporary Tips, but try to do so from as close to the natural nail as possible, because you do not want to 'lever' the whole thing off from the tip of the artificial nail or you might pull up your natural nail along with it! If it causes pain, don't even go there. It isn't as bad to pull on Temporary Tips as it is for Acrylics because they are not completely bonded to your natural nail.

Acetone, you can get it from a pharmacy, It's a little chemically harsh but it will do the job, it was the only thing that would get my acrylics off! Use cuticle oil aswell to stop the damage that the acetone causes! Either soak your hands or use a cotton pad soaked in acetone!

soak your fingers in nail polish remover for about seven minites, then try pulling them off, and it will be easy, they should just slip off.





Or just soak in warm water and do the same.
Soak your hands in nail polish remover which has acetone in it. normal nail polish remover wont do it. :-D hope i helped
hold them all in nail polish remover for 10 minutes then they will turn to goo and slip off
soak in acetone / nailpolish remover works for me
