Do false nails come off in chlorinated in water?

My mum said they do but I'm not sure.Do false nails come off in chlorinated in water?
I don't wear fake nails.. I'd rather have my real nails. :]. But i'm not sure. Look it up on google.Do false nails come off in chlorinated in water?
Your mum doesn't know what she's talking about.

And no, they're not glued on, they're acrylic! Unless you're talking about press-on, which don't stay on no matter what you do.
Nails that are done at a salon (like acrylics) should not come off. I have had my nails done many times throughout the years, and never had a problem being in a swimming pool.

However, if you are referring to press on nails that you buy at Walmart, I'm sure they will probably come off.
Yea. One time, when I was at the YMCA, one of my fake nails fell off when I was swimming laps with my friend. Might have been because they were on for a few weeks, though.

  1. I was reading this because I'm going swimming at the YMCA and I got these fake nails yesterday and I'm not I'm scared that they're going to fall off in the pool and I don't know if they actually are good I got some glue on one with the permanent glue but I got from Walmart do you think they will because I don't know because I'm not really scared I don't want to have them fall off into the pool and then I get kicked out
