Could I wear false nails until my real nails grow properly?

I was wondering if I could do this, but I heard from a friend that the glue is extremely bad for my nails and would weaken them... Is this true?

just stop biting them love....i know it's hard....but i done it! and so did stacey. i'm sure inside yourself...you hav the will power to do so. if you leave on fake nails till they grow they will get cracked and soft. plus, it would be harder to take them off. and...did you know..the usa is moving farther away from europe as fast as your nails grow...Could I wear false nails until my real nails grow properly?
they'll grow but when you take them off your nails get soft %26amp; break easily. i got them when i was 8, now im 13 %26amp; its really hard for them to grow
yes, fake nails are not healthy so i would highly recommend you don't do that
